TOWN LAUNCH ONLINE PROGRAMME

31 October 2012

Try it for free today!

Huddersfield Town has today launched an online version of its award-winning programme ‘Give Us An H’ – and you can try it for free before you buy!

Town has paired up with Hertfordshire-based Match Day Digital to produce a downloadable and tablet version of the Club’s Match Day Magazine for iPads.

To showcase the new online programme, we are making available the Nottingham Forest edition of the programme from the first home League game of the season – which sold out on the day of the game – absolutely free!

Downloading programmes couldn’t be easier. Simply go to the iTunes App store and search for ‘Match Day Digital’; download their FREE app and then search for Huddersfield Town using their easy search function and download the Forest edition free of charge!

Further ‘back copies’ of the programme will follow, including some from prior years.

This weekend’s edition of ‘Give Us An H’ for Saturday’s home clash with Bristol City will be available on Thursday - at an introductory price of just £2.75.

Huddersfield Town’s Communications Manager David Sykes commented:

“We have been exploring the possibility of an online version of Give Us An H for some time now – we’ve had some test versions in the past – but now we’re delighted to get this up and running in association with the team at Match Day Digital, who offer the technology.

“It’s fantastic that ‘Give Us An H’ is now available to any fan at any time and we hope that this development will be especially welcome to overseas and fans outside our local area. We can also now offer ‘back copies’ of sold out programmes, so no fan should miss out. It will be possible to get the programmes in the days leading up to games too.

“We’re also going to look at developing special online-only content and offers within the digital version over the coming months as an added incentive to buy the digital programme.

“At this stage it is available on iPad only, but we’re hoping this will be extended to other devices in the near future.

“We are continually looking to do new things and innovate and we hope this will be a great success.”
