Town Tea range available in Sainsbury’s

Huddersfield Town’s new ‘Town Tea’ range is now flying off the shelves at international supermarket chain, and Club Partner, Sainsbury’s.

To mark the launch, Club Ambassador Andy Booth and Business Development Manager Mark Davies headed down to Sainsbury’s Shorehead to launch and try out the tea.

“I think it’s fantastic,” said Andy. “Being a Yorkshire man I know how important a cup of tea is to people up here and I think it will sell very well.

“It’s also nice for a supermarket chain as big as Sainsbury’s to back it, as it shows that not only is it a great product, it’s got the potential to be a great seller.

“When I started working in the office at the Club I never thought that Huddersfield Town would ever be launching anything like this; it’s testimony to how far the Club has expanded in recent years and how much it has been able to branch into these new areas.

“Better still, it actually tastes great!”

The tea is produced locally by Holmfirth-based manufacturer Winston and Ryder and is an exclusive blend of tea made especially for the Football Club.

You can purchase tea by the cup at Canalside Sports Complex (just 80p) and by the box at the Stadium Superstore, online at or at any of following Sainsbury’s stores:
