Midfielder set for ninth appearance
Huddersfield Town midfielder Oliver Norwood has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for its World Cup Qualifier against Portugal on Tuesday 16 October; kick-off 8.45pm.
The former Manchester United trainee made his international debut against Montenegro in 2010 and has since gone on to make eight appearances for his national side.
The 21 year-old has got off to a flying start to his career with the Terriers and has so far scored three goals in nine appearances.
The game against Paulo Bento’s Portugal will take place at the Dragao Stadium on Tuesday 16 October and will be an 8.45pm kick-off.
