Defender called up for World Cup Qualifiers
Huddersfield Town defender Joel Lynch has received a call-up to the Welsh senior side by manager Chris Coleman for two World Cup qualifiers.
The powerful centre back made his debut for the senior side off the bench during Wales’ 2-0 friendly defeat against Bosnia in August and was also selected in the squad to face Serbia and Belgium, but had to withdraw through injury.
Joel will be part of Coleman’s squad who take on Scotland at the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday 12 October 2012, kick-off 7.45pm.
The 25 year-old will then travel to Osijek, Croatia, to take on the Croatians on Tuesday 16 October; kick-off 7pm.
