EDUCATION
Computer Server and Network Support
To maintain and assist in the management and development of the College computer network systems. The network consists of: Windows Server 2008 and Linux Ubuntu Servers hosted in a VMware Environment with Windows XP/7 desktop client machines; Microsoft Exchange for email; MS Print Server Solution; MS System Centre Configuration Manager for client management; VRanger and Backup Exec for backup; extensive cabling with 3Com switching; Aerohive wireless network; two suites of Apple Macintosh Computers; a variety of specialist software e.g. a language laboratory. The role provides maintenance and support of these systems and face-to-face, email and telephone support for teachers and students.
Salary £22- £24k
