Club Ambassador hands out awards at Salendine Nook

Andy Booth went back to his old school late last week as guest speaker at its Awards Ceremony!

Town’s Club Ambassador took the npower League 1 Play-Off Trophy along with him as he handed out certificates and awards to school leavers and pupils from throughout the school years.

“As part of my job I visit a large number of junior sports clubs and schools, but I must admit it felt totally different to be going back to my old school on Thursday night!” ‘Boothy’ told htafc.com.

“Salendine Nook’s awards ceremony is a fantastic event, befitting of the hard work that their pupils put in throughout the year. I’m honoured to have been a part of the evening and everyone at Huddersfield Town is looking forward to building on that relationship moving forward.”

Salendine Nook is the latest school to sign up as a Schools Partner of Huddersfield Town, which brings tremendous benefits and is totally free of charge!

The aim of Town's school partnership is to formalise the offerings Huddersfield Town currently make to schools in one service through the Club, FITC and support sessions. It will also provide schools with assistance during the recession through 'cashback' schemes, student rewards, player visits and school kits provided by Huddersfield Town.
