TOWN’S TEAM vs. MIDDLESBROUGH

27 November 2012

Arfield and Robinson are drafted in

Huddersfield Town Manager Simon Grayson has made two enforced changes to his starting XI for tonight’s npower Championship clash against Middlesbrough; 7.45pm kick-off.

Both Adam Clayton and Keith Southern are missing from the Terriers’ midfield through suspension, paving the way for Anton Robinson to make his first start of the season and for Scott Arfield, his second.

Otherwise Town are unchanged, but could switch to a 4-5-1 formation for the clash against Boro, but in any case goalkeeper Alex Smithies will be protected by a back four of Paul Dixon, skipper Peter Clarke – making his 450th career start tonight – Joel Lynch and Jack Hunt.

Danny Ward and Simon Church will provide the width, while in the centre Arfield and Robinson are expected to sit in front of Oliver Norwood. This leaves Lee Novak to lead the line on his own at the Riverside.

Town under-18 midfielder Duane Holmes is also a part of the travelling Town party, but is not involved in the 18.

Town’s team vs. Middlesbrough:

1. Alex Smithies
