Two changes made to starting XI

Huddersfield Town Manager Simon Grayson has made two changes to the starting line-up for today’s npower Championship game at home to Brighton; 3pm kick-off.

Jermaine Beckford has not recovered from the injury that forced him off during the second half at Barnsley last weekend, so his place in the team is taken By Northern Ireland international Oliver Norwood; he makes the 50th League start of his career in central midfield this afternoon.

Elsewhere Sean Scannell has picked up a slight hamstring injury in training and is replaced in the team by Danny Ward, who will make the 100th League appearance of his career today.

Town are set to line up in a 4-4-2 formation this afternoon, with goalkeeper Alex Smithies protected by a back four of Paul Dixon, former Brighton player Joel Lynch, skipper Peter Clarke and Jack Hunt. Danny Ward and Adam Clayton start on the left and right wings respectively with Oliver Norwood partnering Keith Southern in central midfield, leaving Simon Church – who is making the 100th appearance in his club career today – partnering top scorer Lee Novak in attack, who is playing his 150th game for Huddersfield Town this afternoon.
