TOWN TREATS THE LADIES

Commercial team host another fantastic Ladies who Lunch

Huddersfield Town's annual Ladies who Lunch event last week saw over 140 ladies spend the day drinking champagne, shopping in specialist boutiques and watching a House of Fraser fashion show!

Guests were invited to arrive for 11am at the Stadium and were greeted with champagne before being shown through to the Club's hospitality boxes, which had been turned into shopping boutiques for the day. High street brands such as Lancome and Pandora had their latest Christmas lines on show - which proved very popular on the day!

Following a spot of shopping the ladies filed into the Revell Ward suite to enjoy a two course meal. Prior to the meal, Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson invited Bluebell Rickwood onto the stage to showcase her outfit that she had picked out for free, courtesy of House of Fraser.

At 2pm, Yorkshire County Cricket Club Captain Andrew Gale and team mate Richard Pyrah joined Andy Booth and a number of male and female models to showcase the latest lines courtesy of House of Fraser! Town’s Club Ambassador gave the ladies a further threat when he stripped to just his bottoms to model the latest nightwear ranges from House of Fraser.

To conclude the event, Town's Commercial Department held a raffle with proceeds going towards the Huddersfield Town Foundation; all the prizes on the day were donated by the boutiques such as a bracelet from Pandora. In total, £700 was raised for Town’s Charity.

Huddersfield Town's Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson was delighted at the success of the event;

"After the success of last year’s ‘mini shopping mall’ we were delighted that more boutiques signed up this year – as a shopping experience I felt that it was far improved this year.

"I would like to thank House of Fraser in Huddersfield, for helping us put on and host the fashion show. Additionally, I would to thank Andrew and Richard from Yorkshire Cricket Club for being excellent sports and helping us raise money for the Town Foundation.

She added: “This year’s event was without doubt the best one that we have ever hosted. Plans to build on its success next year will begin shortly and an announcement on when it will be held will follow on htafc.com.”
