Midfielder called up to Northern Ireland squad
Huddersfield Town midfielder Oliver Norwood has been selected by Northern Ireland Manager Michael O’Neil in the country’s squad for its upcoming World Cup Qualifier against Azerbaijan.
If selected to play in the clash, the former Manchester United midfielder will make his 10th appearance at senior international level.
The qualifier will take place in Belfast at Windsor Park on November 14, 7.45pm kick-off.
The 21 year-old played 90 minutes in Northern Ireland’s last qualifier when they earned an impressive draw in Portugal.
