Norwood is an unused sub for Northern Ireland
Huddersfield Town defender Paul Dixon made an assist on his third appearance for Scotland on Wednesday evening as they beat Luxembourg 2-1 in an International Challenge Match.
The full-back provided the first of Jordan Rhodes’ brace with a well-executed delivery from the wing. The former Dundee United man played the whole 90 minutes and was impressive in attack and defence as the Scots gave interim Manager Billy Stark his first win at senior level.
Oliver Norwood was also away on international duty on Wednesday evening with Northern Ireland, but the midfielder was an unused substitute as David Healy earned the Irish a late point against Azerbaijan.
