Networking event held in new function room
The second Huddersfield Town Enterprise Academy of the season was held in the new function room at Canalside on Thursday afternoon.
Over 85 business delegates attended the interactive seminar to show how businesses can turn its LinkedIn presence into a lead generation machine creating an endless supply of new business opportunities.
The session was led by Michael Barker, Managing Director of Performance Development Group, who discussed how LinkedIn could eliminate the need for businesses to use ‘cold calling’ forever.
Huddersfield Town Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson commented:
"It was great to see some new faces and I think we are starting to see some very fruitful business relationships take shape as a direct result of the Enterprise Academy.

The next HTEA event is scheduled to take place in Janauary 2013 and it is hoped that it will take place in the new Kirklees College Engineering Centre.
