Young defender going to Scottish U18 camp
Huddersfield Town defender William Boyle has been called up to a Scotland Under-18 and Under-19 training camp to be held in Falkirk between 21 and 23 November.
Centre back Boyle is one of nine English-based players to be summoned to the 28-man squad, which has been assembled by Scotland Under-19 Coach Ricky Sbragia.
Town fans will also be interested to hear that Scotland Under-17 Coach Dean Gorre – the popular Surinamese footballer who made 68 appearances for the Terriers between 1999 and 2001 – is among the coaches present for the three day camp.
This is Boyle’s second call-up to a Scottish training camp over the last two months – click HERE for info on the first call-up.
First year Academy scholar William, who qualifies for Scotland through his father, will join up with the squad at the MacDonald Inchyra Grange Hotel in Falkirk from Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 November.
