'Town Footee' HTAFC's new junior supporters game pitches Town against Premiership giants Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa as the Club launches a recruitment drive towards the end of this season. The aim is to get as many junior supporters signed up to the site as possible.
Town Footee takes the form of a club-themed virtual world packed full of National Curriculum-linked educational games and quests. Achievements are rewarded by virtual currency that allows children to purchase star players for their own playable dream team.
The programme for 7-14 year olds is supported by the English FA and features the full Huddersfield Town squad along with all of the UK's other top professional football teams. Its games support learning in maths, language, science, geography and history - as well as helping to develop skills in cross-curricular competences such as health, nutrition, citizenship, teamwork and digital literacy.
