Only one week to go!

Are you ready for ‘Yorkshire Day’? Huddersfield Town – The Yorkshire Club – has plenty ready for you on 1 August!
‘Yorkshire Day’ is celebrated on 1 August to promote the historic English county of Yorkshire was started off in 1975 by the Yorkshire Ridings Society, initially in Beverley, as a protest movement against the local government reorganisation of 1974.

The date alludes to the Battle of Minden, and also the anniversary of the emancipation of slaves in the British Empire in 1834, for which Yorkshire MP William Wilberforce had campaigned.
It’s also a great day to celebrate all things Huddersfield Town – The Yorkshire Club!
This year we have four fantastic ways for you to celebrate Yorkshire Day:

We are encouraging all supporting businesses to allow staff members to wear blue and white on the day in return for a donation for the Keep It Up campaign – why not sign your business up to get everyone behind Town for a day!

Get your own ‘Yorkshire Mixture’
