Improvements to facilities to benefit Club members

The gym at Canalside Sports Complex will undergo refurnishment during early August to improve the facilities for its members.
Huddersfield Town partner Life Fitness will be heavily involved in the refurbishment process, initially supplying new equipment including seven treadmills, 10 bikes, five cross trainers, three rowing machines and a pulley resistance machine from its ‘Activate’ and ‘Concept2’ series.
The gym will also be re-carpeted and redecorated as part of the process.
As a result the gym will be closed between 9pm on Sunday 5 August until 9am on Tuesday 14 August, but Canalside Sports Complex will have some special offers for the grand reopening of the gym!
Canalside Operations Manager Stuart Leach commented:
“The refurbishment will benefit the current membership of our gym as well as the Huddersfield Town First Team and Academy, who regularly use the facilities. The gym has to shut for a short time while we carry out these improvements - this is unavoidable - and we are seeking to minimise the disruption.

We're sure that when our members see the end result they will all agree that it's a major improvement. There is a significant funding contribution from the Founding Members of Canalside Sports Complex and we are grateful for their support.
“The gym will feature some of the best new equipment around thanks to Club Partner Life Fitness and we’d like to thank them for their support in this project.”
