Grayson makes four changes to starting XI
Huddersfield Town Manager Simon Grayson has made four changes to the starting XI for this afternoon’s npower Championship game against Bolton Wanderers; 3pm kick-off.
Striker James Vaughan is brought back into the starting line-up for the first time in eight games following his recent thigh injury and will make the 50th League start of his career up front today.
Elsewhere Scottish international Paul Dixon steps back into the side at left back after his omission against Leeds United last weekend, replacing the injured Joel Lynch (hamstring).
Northern Ireland international Oliver Norwood also returns to the side in place of Scott Arfield, with the final change coming in attack where Lee Novak replaces Alan Lee.
Town look set to line up in a 4-3-3 formation today, with goalkeeper Alex Smithies looking for a fifth clean sheet of the season behind a back four of Paul Dixon, skipper Peter Clarke, Anthony Gerrard and Jack Hunt. Oliver Norwood, Adam Clayton and last weekend’s goalscorer Chris Atkinson should form the central midfield trio behind a front three of Lee Novak, James Vaughan and Simon Church – who is making the 150th League appearance of his career today.
