TOWN HOLD SECOND SIGNING DAY

Club holds charity signing day at the Stadium

Huddersfield Town held its second charity signing day on Thursday to help raise money for local charities.

Dewsbury District Hospital were in attendance at the Stadium and play workers from its Children Ward are pictured below and above with Town winger Danny Ward and Manager Simon Grayson.



Huddersfield Town Supporter Partnerships Manager Robyn Deegan commented: “Huddersfield Town is committed to helping local charities where possible, therefore we were happy to welcome Dewsbury District Hospital on Thursday afternoon for our charity signing event. We hope they raise a lot of funds from the merchandise and enjoyed meeting the players.”

Town’s next charity signing day is expected to be in February, 2013. To register your interest please email rachel.taylor@htafc.com or write to: Rachel Taylor, Huddersfield Town Football Club, Stadium Way, Huddersfield, HD1 6PX. Please clearly state your name, position, the name of the charity and its registered charity number. Full details of dates and times will be given to those interested in due course.

If you are an individual fundraising on behalf of a charity who would like to attend the signing day, we will require a reference or sanction letter/email from your chosen charity to accompany your letter.

As for the past three years Town’s main charity partnership is with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the joint venture ‘Keep it Up’ campaign. The Club will also be holding a dedicated game for Yorkshire Cancer Research, Hollybank and the Forget Me Not Trust.
