Results will help Town move forward
Huddersfield Town undertook its most comprehensive supporter’s survey ever back in August – and the results are now in!
In February 2012 the Club entered into a partnership with Huddersfield-based Ask Insight, who became Town’s Official Research Partner, and the pair joined forces to conduct a comprehensive survey of Town fans regarding all aspects of the Club – whether it be matchday experience, ticketing, retail, memberships or other aspects. This covered 14 areas and nearly 100 questions.
833 Huddersfield Town fans filled in the online survey at htafcsurvey.co.uk and were entered into a prize draw, with one lucky winner – Karen Ramsey – winning VIP tickets for two people to Town’s home clash against Leicester City on Tuesday 2 October, whilst a second winner – Adam Howlett – got a signed Wembley Play-Off final shirt!

Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:
“I would like to thank Ask Insight for compiling this survey – they have done an absolutely tremendous job and their findings will help Huddersfield Town formulate its plans for years to come. I would also like to thank all the fans who took part, because results from the survey will be used to ensure the Club does all it can to improve over the coming years, both on and off the field of play.
“Huddersfield Town conducts lots of different work in many different areas of the Club, but we never lose sight of the importance of our supporters in the stands. This survey has let us know what we’re doing well, but more importantly what we’re not doing well and where we need to improve.”
Susan Kenyon, Director at Ask Insight, said:
“The value gained from Town’s comprehensive Fan Experience survey will have lasting value for Huddersfield Town Football Club. It is already proving a worthwhile investment as Town acts upon the survey’s invaluable findings to improve the overall Fan Experience.”
The Club will now release the results of the Survey over the next few weeks.
“Already, just off the basic information, we know we need to work on the foul language heard in certain sections of the ground – particularly if there is any in the Fantastic Family Stand.
“I would remind all Huddersfield Town fans that if you hear any foul and abusive, racist or homophobic language, we have a report line – simply phone or text 07741 528 949 telling us which block ad stand you are seated in. It’s confidential and will help us make a difference.”
The first instalment of results next week will focus on the match day experience at home matches.
