JARVIS INVITED FOR COFFEE & CAKE!
17 December 2012
Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis was the business expert at the latest meeting of the Coffee and Cake Business Network.
Jarvis attended the event last week and was the subject of a question and answer session, during which he covered topics such as the Huddersfield Town Foundation; the Club’s partners; how Town has changed over the past few years and the up and coming Pedal 4 Pounds 4 bike ride.
Town’s Commercial Director commented:
“I really enjoyed taking part in the latest Coffee & Cake Event; it was a networking event with a twist! It was good to see a lot of new businesses at the event all trying to make the difference, like Huddersfield Town.
“The atmosphere is very nice and I was made to feel very welcome by everyone; I would recommend the event to any business looking to make connections in our local area.”
The Coffee and Cake Business Network meets every third Thursday of the month between 4.30pm and 6pm at Café Society, Byram Street, Huddersfield.
In previous months the networking event has played host to Jason Taylor of Club Partner Kirkless College, Liz Tattersley of Welcome to Yorkshire and Jean Kent of Yorkshire Enterprise Agency.
The first of the monthly meetings was held in April 2012 and they now attract between 25-23 businesses. The group is the brainchild of Michelle Hodgson, of Key Words, who wanted to set up a regular networking event that facilitated local businesses helping each other with a variety of issues.
