It’s forecasted that by next summer the HTEA LinkedIn group will hit 2,000 members. 

The HTEA powered by YBG is a focal point for businesses in the Yorkshire area to come together and exchange ideas, as well as learn new ones, regarding business practice and gives these businesses an opportunity to network through a series of events planned throughout the course of the season.

HTEA’s LinkedIn group allows its members to network, socialise and keep up to date with all the latest news from the Enterprise Academy.

In January 2012, after two years of development, the LinkedIn group topped the 200 level – meaning in just short of ten months over 1,000 new business delegates are benefitting from being a member of the Enterprise Academy.

Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented: 

“This dramatic rise in membership of the HTEA LinkedIn group is a sign of the dramatic rise in profile of Huddersfield Town now that we are in the Championship and increased recognition of the Huddersfield Town Enterprise Academy, which is powered by YBG.

“The HTEA is becoming widely known across Yorkshire and beyond and is now one of the region’s leading business community groups. The effect of this rise in profile is the widening coverage of the LinkedIn Group.

The next event of the Huddersfield Town Enterprise Academy powered by YBG is expected to be in February 2013. More details will be shared with the members of the group in the New Year.
