HIGGINBOTHAM RETURNS TO TOWN

7 December 2012

Loan spell at Carlisle ends early

Kallum Higginbotham has today returned to Huddersfield Town after his loan spell at npower League 1 side Carlisle United was cut short.

The 23 year-old attacker started eight games and made a further three substitute appearances for Greg Abbott’s side since moving to Brunton Park on loan on 20 September, but he hasn’t started in their last two League games and now his three month loan – initially scheduled to end on 22 December – has been curtailed.

Kallum, who joined Town from Falkirk in the January 2012 transfer window on a two and half year contract, has made five starts and two further substitute appearances for the Club to date.
