Canalside Sports Complex – the official training ground of Huddersfield Town – is looking for a new chef to join the existing team working in the facility’s kitchen.

The new chef will be required to work a flexible 35 hours a week to meet the needs of the business and will be expected to help provide between 120 and 150 covers per day plus breakfast, including food for the Huddersfield Town First Team and Academy players. Catering for functions and parties is also part of the role.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent nutritional knowledge of the needs of professional sport, as they will work closely with Huddersfield Town’s Sports Science teams to ensure the nutritional needs of Town’s professional players are being met. 

Necessary qualities and key attributes include teamwork, flexibility, the ability to prepare first class fresh food to a high standard within time constraints, knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food standards and excellent cooking skills.
