CAROL CONCERT TONIGHT!

11 December 2012

Come down and pay on the door!

Huddersfield Town's Annual Christmas Carol Concert, held in aid of the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign, is tonight!

Fans, along with the entire First Team squad, will attend the  Christmas celebration at Halifax Minster, with the event beginning at 7.30pm.

Popular Town striker Alan Lee will read ‘The Shepherd and the Angels’ on a night that will also feature performances from Silcoates Junior School choir and Royds Hall School choir on what is sure to be a magical evening.

HTAFC Supporter Partnerships Manager Robyn Deegan commented:

“The Christmas Celebration is a firm fixture in the KIU events calendar and one which is sure to get people in the festive mood.

“Last year’s event was brilliant, with over 500 people packing out Wakefield Cathedral to listen to the schools signing classic hymns and our players trying their hand at readings.

“This year we want to try and fill Halifax Minster, so I’d encourage Town fans and their families to get down and support this event, and raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and HTAFC Academy in the process!”

Recommended donation per entry is £6 adults, £4 seniors and £3 juniors - and you can pay on the door at the Minster!

All proceeds go to the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign which benefits the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity and the Huddersfield Town Academy.

Over £710,000 has been raised for the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign so far, and we are hoping to reach the £1 million mark soon!
