Kids rush to get picture with Play-Off silverware

Huddersfield Town and the npower League 1 Play-Off Trophy made a starring appearance at the annual Mirfield Show on Sunday, giving thousands of supporters their chance to get their hands on the Cup!

Not only that, but as you can see above the Queen managed to get her hands on the trophy too – well, kind of!

“Sunday’s Mirfield Show was another fantastic event for us to attend,” said the Club’s Business Development Manager Mark Davies.

“It felt like the whole of Mirfield attended – it was very busy throughout the day – and it’s always nice to get out and about with the Trophy. There’s a real community spirit to this event and we’re happy to be at the centre of it.

“We met some great characters - including the Queen’s lookalike - and young Harry Crowther, who has been the guest of honour at one of our games in the past.

“On behalf of the Club I’d like to thank the organisers for putting on such a great event, and thank all the Town fans who popped along to say hello and get their picture!”

Did you get your picture taken with the trophy at Mirfield Show yesterday? If so, please post them on our Facebook page – - and on our twitter feed - @htafcdotcom - for everyone to see!

Harry Crowther is amongst other special guests, including gold medallist Ed Clancy, at our ‘Golden Game’ against Burnley this Saturday; 3pm kick off. Buy your tickets for the game online by clicking HERE!
