Vaughan makes full debut in starting XI

New signing James Vaughan has been handed a full debut in today’s npower Championship clash against Burnley; 3pm kick-off.

Vaughan replaces Lee Novak, who drops to the bench, in an otherwise unchanged starting XI for the Terriers this afternoon. Former Claret Alan Lee drops out of the match day 18.

Town look set to line up 4-3-3 this afternoon, with goalkeeper Alex Smithies protected by a back four of Paul Dixon, Joel Lynch, skipper Peter Clarke and Jack Hunt. Lifelong Burnley fan Oliver Norwood lines up alongside Keith Southern and Adam Clayton in the midfield trio with James Vaughan and Sean Scannell flanking Jordan Rhodes in attack.
