TOWN OPEN DAY TODAY!

14 August 2012

Open training session planned

Huddersfield Town will be holding its annual Open Day on Tuesday 14 August!

‘The Yorkshire Club’ will once again throw open its doors and invite everyone down to the Stadium for the ever-popular Open Day.

As in previous seasons there will be an open training session, with Simon Grayson’s first team squad taking to the pitch as spectators take in one of their final training sessions ahead of the start of the npower Championship campaign.

Doors will open at 9.30am and immediately fans will get the final opportunity to have their picture with the npower League 1 Play-Off Trophy before the new season starts.

Next, from 10:30 up until 12pm, fans can watch training on the pitch from the Direct Golf UK stand.

Once training finishes fans will be able to see the team coach, tour the ground, taking in the Boardroom, a mock-up of Town’s pre and post-match press conference area, tunnel area and the changing rooms!

In a rare opportunity, the Billy Smith Memorabilia covering the 1920’s glory period of the Club will be also on display.

Then at 1pm we’ll head over to the Fantastic Media Stand where the players will hold a mega signing session until 3pm, concluding a money can’t buy day out at the Club.

There will be lots of other things to do for all the family on the day.

They’ll also be many unique items to buy as we incorporate our traditional ‘Kit Man’ sale into the day, giving supporters the opportunity to get theirs hands on the players’ kit as well as other exclusive items from last season.

Last year over 750 people attended a record breaking event and we hope numbers will be even higher this time.
