Jordan misses out with hamstring injury

Huddersfield Town will be without striker Jordan Rhodes for their opening Championship clash against Cardiff after the striker failed a late fitness test on his hamstring.

Jordan’s place up front is taken by Lee Novak who is supported in attack by the returning Sean Scannell and Scott Arfield.

On a positive note Town welcome three debutants back into their side in Joel Lynch, Sean Scannell and Oliver Norwood. The trio missed Town’s first competitive game of the season at Preston on Monday due to their international call-ups.
