MURRAY NAMED IN SCOTLAND U21 SQUAD

1 August 2012

Defender receives first call up to Stark’s squad

Huddersfield Town defender Murray Wallace has today received his first call-up to the Scotland under-21 squad for their match against Belgium.

Wallace, who has featured for Town during pre-season, has been called up for Scotland’s Vauxhall under-21 International Challenge Match on Tuesday 14 August (7.30) against Belgium.

The 19 year-old has already represented his national team at under-20 level when he was named by Ricky Sbragia to compete in the 59th ADO Den Haag Tournament in May, 2012. Murray played in all five of Scotland’s game, completing 90 minutes in each where they were defeated in a third place play-off.
