Defender in squad for World Cup qualifiers
Huddersfield Town defender Joel Lynch has received a call-up to the Welsh senior side by manager Chris Coleman for two World Cup qualifiers.
The powerful centre back made his debut for the senior side off the bench during Wales’ 2-0 friendly defeat against Bosnia earlier this month.
Joel will join up with his Welsh teammates for their first 2014 World Cup Qualifying match against Belgium on Friday 7 September (7.45pm) at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Chris Coleman’s squad will then travel to play Serbia in Novi Sad on Tuesday 11 September (7.30pm)
