Improvements being made to Club’s Training Ground
Changes are being made at Canalside Sports Complex to improve the complex’s gym and function facilities.
The Complex, located at 509 Leeds Road, has had its gym refurbished and decorated. The gym, which has now reopened, has been fitted with an improved and wider range of cardio equipment courtesy of the Club’s official partner, Life Fitness.
Furthermore, the function facilities are being improved at the Complex which will see half the snooker room be removed to be replaced with a large dance floor and seating area.
Canalside Operations Manager, Stuart Leach commented: “Our Gym has also been a popular feature of the Complex, but we felt it was time to improve upon our offering for our current members. Hopefully the improvements will also attract new members.
“The developments currently taking place in the lounge and snooker rooms will improve our function offerings. You can hire our function for free by calling the Canalside Bar on 01484 537720”
If you join the Gym before the end of September you have not have to pay a joining free. Also, when you pay for 10 months in advance you can get two months free – a saving of £60.
The Gym has now re-opened and the new function is expected to be completed in October.
