Andreas Winkler joined Jan Siewert’s coaching team in January 2019.
The 49-year-old German made the move from Sky Bet League 1 side Barnsley, where he had worked with Head Coach Daniel Stendel since June 2018.
Andreas started his playing career at Bayern Munich, where he came through the famed Bavarian Academy.
He played for several clubs in Germany before retiring at Rot-Weiss Essen in 2003, where he joined the backroom staff.
Winkler was Head of Academy for 14 years before becoming Director of Football at the Club, where he worked with Jan Siewert during his season as Head Coach of the Club.
