- George Danaher & Ben Mills on target for Town
- Highlights on #HTTV next week

Huddersfield Town Under-18s faced Burnley in a top-of-the-table Professional Development League North clash and despite taking a two-goal lead through George Danaher and Ben Mills, the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

The game was played at PPG Canalside ahead of the First Team’s FA Cup Fourth Round tie against Birmingham City later that day.

Last weekend’s scheduled game against Sheffield Wednesday was postponed, with Leigh Bromby making one-change to the side that won 3-1 last time out at Barnsley with Josh Austerfield coming into the side in place of Dahomey Raymond.

It would take the Terriers half-an-hour to take the lead with forward George Danaher heading Leigh Bromby’s side into the lead before substitute Ben Mills doubled Town’s lead in the second-half, converting from close range to give Town the two-goal advantage.

Burnley would draw the game level with two-goals in the space of 8 minutes. James Clarke firstly converted from a corner in the 72nd minute before Marley Blair poked them level around the 80-minute mark. Town ‘keeper Luke Mewitt also saved a penalty between the two Burnley goals as the game ended in a draw.

Bromby’s side are back in action next Saturday as they travel to face Bolton Wanderers.

Town’s Starting Line-up (4-2-3-1):
Luke Mewitt; Ben Jackson, Oran Thompson (Ben Mills, 49’), Jordan Eli, Sam Gibson; Isaac Marriott, Scott High; Micah Obiero, Josh Austerfield, Olly Dyson (Seth Meeson, 65’); George Danaher

Unused Subs:
Tom Bamford, Remi Thompson, Dahomey Raymond
