Born in Noisy-le-Grand – a suburb of Paris – Etienne moved to West Yorkshire in October 2020, joining the Town Academy from French side Angers SCO.
Standing at 6’ 3” tall, Etienne usually plays in the deepest central midfield position in Town’s formation.
He has already made his senior debut for the Club, coming on as a substitute in our Emirates FA Cup game against Plymouth Argyle at the John Smith’s Stadium in January 2021.
The talented Frenchman has extended his stay with the Terriers until 30 June 2023, at which point the Club can extend the contract by a further season.
The 2022/23 season saw the Young Terrier break through into the First Team and make 20 appearances in his debut season at just 20-years-old.
At the end of his first season, Etienne received his first international call-up with France for the 2023 FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
