Álex Vallejo joined Town as a free agent in October 2020, signing a contract until June 2021.
Primarily a holding midfield player, but also with the ability to play centre back, Álex is well known to Head Coach Carlos Corberán from his extensive time playing in the Spanish second tier for the likes of RCD Mallorca, Córdoba CF and CF Fuenlabrada.
