Ryan Schofield’s impressive performances have seen him become Town's first choice goalkeeper in the 2020/21 season
Huddersfield lad Ryan, who joined the Club from junior side Lepton Highlanders as an eight-year-old, worked his way through the Academy age groups whilst earning England caps up to Under-20 level.
The most recent of those came in the 2017 Toulon Tournament, helping England win the prestigious competition.
Ryan gained senior experience through loan spells at FC United of Manchester, AFC Telford United, Notts County and Livingston, and made his Town debut in a Carabao Cup game against Lincoln City in August 2019.
The 2020/21 campaign has been Ryan's breakthrough, with the unavailability of Ben Hamer in November 2020 presenting him with an opportunity to establish himself in the side. He kept four clean sheets in his first six Championship appearances, and hasn't looked back since!
