Ben joined the Town Academy in the summer of 2019 from Blackburn Rovers.

He made an immediate impact, showing fantastic energy and a real eye for goal from his central midfield berth, and quickly established himself as Captain of the Under-17 side.

Having spent the majority of the 2020/21 season ruled out due to injury, the midfielder came back in time to Captain the Young Terriers to Clarets Cup victory in May 2021.

The 2021/22 campaign saw the youngster determined to make up for lost time by regularly appearing for Jon Worthington’s B Team.

He signed his first professional contract with the Terriers in May 2021, and agreed a longer deal in October 2021, putting pen-to-paper on a contract that runs until the summer of 2023, with the Club having the option of a further year’s extension.

November 2021 saw the youngster join Nuneaton Borough for his first ever loan move, scoring once in six games for the non-league side.
