Defender Romoney Crichlow joined the Huddersfield Town Academy following a successful trial period at the Club.
Born in Luton and from London, Romoney joined the Club as a free agent, having played football and studied at the Dynamic Football Academy in Buckinghamshire whilst playing for Enfield Borough’s First Team in tier 11 of the English football pyramid.
Having joined Town as a left-back, Crichlow has now grown into a role as a left-sided centre-half.
30 appearances for Town's Academy sides in 2018/19 were complimented by a further first taste of senior football at Bradford Park Avenue.
Romoney spent the first half of 2019/20 on loan at Hartlepool United, switching to Welling United for the second half of the campaign.
With six appearances for the Town First Team under his belt across the 2020/21, Crichlow scored his first goal in Blue and White against Plymouth Argyle in the Emirates FA Cup.
Romoney put pen-to-paper in July 2022, signing a new deal that runs until the summer of 2023, with the Club having option to extend by a further season.
The centre back saw his 2021/22 campaign split into two loan spells.
Spending the first half of the season with Swindon Town, Romoney made 18 appearances and bagged two goal contributions.
Crichlow then stepped up to League One for the latter half of the season, being consistently involved in the Pilgrims’ match day squad in their search for promotion.
