Jonas Lössl has returned to Huddersfield Town, re-joining the Terriers on loan from Everton!
The Danish international will join the Club from the Toffees for the remainder of the 2019/20 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Jonas will be a popular sight back at the John Smith’s Stadium after becoming a genuine fans’ favourite during Town’s seasons in the Premier League.
The 30-year-old left the Terriers in the summer at the conclusion of his contract and has since provided competition for Everton number one Jordan Pickford.
During his two-year spell with Huddersfield Town, Jonas made 72 appearances and played an influential role to keep the Club in the Premier League during the 2017/18 season. He also has one cap for Denmark and was named in their 2018 FIFA World Cup squad.
Huddersfield Town Manager Danny Cowley commented:
“Huddersfield Town supporters won’t need me to introduce Jonas. We are delighted to be able to bring him back to the Club.
“From the first moment we spoke, his affinity with the Club and the supporters was obvious; this is very important to us.
“There was a real desire to come and help the team and the squad and a huge motivation to play regular football.
“He brings a wealth of experience, he’s a good communicator and had outstanding distribution skills.”
Jonas will wear the number 49 shirt during his time at the Club
