WILLIAM BOYLE
Defender
A tall centre half in the first year of his scholarship, William hails from Garforth and goes to Garforth Community College.
He played for Garforth Villa before joining Town's Academy at under-15 level in October 2010.
TOM BRIGGS
Defender
Capable of playing at centre back or right back, Thomas has been with Town since joining as an under-10.
Now in the second year of his scholarship, he lives in Bradford and played for Bolton Woods before joining the Academy. Tom's 2011/12 season was split between playing for the under-18s and the under-16s as an overage player and this term he will be looking to cement a place in the youth team.
JAKE CHARLES
Midfielder
First year scholar Jake is a natural left winger who, like teammate William, hails from Garforth.
He joined the Terriers in his under-11 season and made his under-18 debut for the Club last season, making a total of five appearances.
GEORGE CONWAY
Midfielder
Brighouse-based George is a promising midfielder who has trained with the Scotland under-16 squad, who he is eligible for due to his family.
A former player for Clifton Rangers, he joined Town at under-9 level and was a regular feature in Town's under-18 side during the 2011/12 season - the first of his two year scholarship.
RYAN COX
Striker
Picked up from local football in Liverpool, Ryan is a goal-poacher who is starting the second year of his scholarship this term.
He joined the Huddersfield Town Academy in April 2009 at under-15 level.
KEDESH GODDARD
Midfielder
A midfielder, Kedesh played for local side Dalton Dynamos before joining Town in April 2010 - the same junior team as new professional Israel Johnson.
He currently lives in Hepworth, Huddersfield and is embarking upon the first year of his scholarship.
BEN HOLMES
Midfielder
A talented central midfield ball player, Ben comes from Oldham and joined Town in July 2010 from Heyside Juniors.
Although he is only just starting the first year of his scholarship in 2012/13, he played three games for the under-18s last season and also featured in a development game late in the season.
DUANE HOLMES
Midfielder
A versatile player, second year scholar Duane is usually deployed in midfield but can also play at right back.
He comes from Wakefield and played for Kellingley Welfare before joining the Huddersfield Town Academy at under-9 level.
Duane featured prominently for the under-18s during 2011/12 and will be looking to kick-on again this term.
DANNY MORTON
Midfielder
A one time a player for Battyeford Junior Football Club in Mirfield, midfielder Danny joined Town at under-13 level.
Now in the second year of his scholarhip, Danny made his under-18 debut during the 2010/11 season as a substitute during a resounding home victory over Middlesbrough in April and played fairly regularly last term.
MIKEY STARKEY
Defender
Huddersfield-born Mikey attended Newsome High School, but only joined the Terriers in November 2011 after spending two years at Manchester United.
About to begin the first year of his scholarship, he is a left back by trade and has already made his under-18 debut - starting three games during 2011/12.
SAM GUTHRIE
Goalkeeper
Sam Guthrie joined the Terriers in late 2012 from Gateshead College.
The ‘keeper is currently a first year scholar who is in competition with Ed Wilczynski for a spot in the Terriers’ under-18’s team.
JACOB TURNER
Midfielder
Leeds-born midfielder Jacob is similar to colleague Sean Collins in that he is older than his first year colleagues.
A former Leeds City Junior, he joined Town in July 2008 as an under-14 player and will begin the first year of his scholarship during 2012/13.
PAUL MULLIN
Striker
Paul Mullin joined the Huddersfield Town Academy in the summer after impressing when playing against the Terriers for Salt Academy.
The striker, who joined Liverpool as a youngster, was invited for a short trial with the Terriers and joined the Club’s scholarship scheme ahead of the 2012/13 season.
Although Paul is of second year age, he is classed as a first year. The youngster also spent a short spell at Spanish outfit Racing Santander at the start of last season.
ED WILCZYNSKI
Goalkeeper
A goalkeeper from Mount, Ed joined the Huddersfield Town Academy at under-14 level having played junior football for Collegians in Salendine Nook.
Undertaking the second year of his scholarship in 2012/13, Ed would be able to play for Poland or Ireland thanks to his heritage.
JOE WILKINSON
Defender
Another centre back, Joe is from Dewsbury and played for Dewsbury Rangers before joining Town in March 2007, eventually signing forms in October 2008.
He will begin his two year scholarship during the 2012/13 season and will be hoping to establish himself in the under-18 side.
JOE WRIGHT
Defender
A defender from Monk Fryston near Selby, Joe joined the Town Academy in September 2010 at under-16 level having previously played for Collingham.
A tall centre back, he was a virtual ever-present for the under-18s in the first year of his scholarship in 2011/12.
