Thanks to the magnificent support from its fans, Huddersfield Town is proud to announce that as of 5pm today it had sold a record-breaking 15,430 season tickets, smashing the all-time record of 14,058 set in 1970 when Town were promoted to the top flight.

That figure breaks down to 15,016 in the stands and 414 in the hospitality areas.

The number doubles last season's tally of 7,633.

The 15,000th ticket was sold to local amateur referee John Kingdom of Holmfirth, who is pictured celebrating with the men who made the £100 Season Ticket offer possible - Chairman Ken Davy adn Chairman-elect Dean Hoyle.

WHAT HAPPENS HOW?

The Ticket Office will be closed on Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th May.


Behind the scenes your season ticket books are being processed and sent out over the next few weeks. We are hoping to have all Antich tickets booked prior to the final week dispatched this weekend.

Next week Direct Golf UK Lower Tier, Direct Golf UK Upper Tier and Fantastic Media booked prior to the final week will be dispatched.


Tickets for all stands booked in the final week will be processed as soon as possible although due to the fantastic demand we have had to put in an extra order for books which could delay them until the beginning of July.

MOVING SEATS

From 9.30am on Wednesday until 5.00pm on Friday existing season ticket holders will be able to enquire about moving seats enquiries will be dealt with either in person or by telephone.

For completeness, 197 seats were not renewed in the Antich Stand, 95 in the Direct Golf UK Stand Lower Tier, 20 in the Direct Golf UK Stand Upper Tier and 49 in the Fantastic Media Stand.

During this week no additional tickets will be sold.
