Huddersfield Town's game against Gillingham on Saturday January 12th is the first League game of the club's Centenary year - 2008.

To help launch the celebrations, Town are offering fans of all ages the chance to come down and watch the game for just £5 thanks to the help of six businesses.

Main Club sponsors Casino Red, secondary shirt sponsors Stafflex, local newspaper the Examiner, domestic electrical appliance manufacturer Home-tek International, Kirklees Stadium Development Ltd and Carlsberg UK have all sponsored the game so that Town can offer the discounted ticket price.

Ian Walton of Carlsberg UK stated earlier today that his company are 'proud' to be associated with Huddersfield Town.

"Carlsberg UK are proud partners of The Galpharm Stadium and Huddersfield Town FC and are proud to be associated with their Centenary Year."

A spokesman for KSDL echoed the sentiments of Carlsberg.

"As the proud home of Huddersfield Town, it seems only right that we should support the Centenary year of this great Club. Let's hope for a full Stadium to cheer on the boys on Saturday!"
