Town's reserve side have finished second in this season's totesport.com League East Division table.

Leeds United's second string clinched the title at Elland Road on Tuesday night with a 1-0 win over Rotherham United, meaning Town finish in second place just two points behind their West Yorkshire rivals.

Paul Stephenson's side have performed excellently throughout the season, losing just one of their 16 games. Since the Development Coach took over the managerial reins of the reserve team he has blooded several of Town's Academy players, such as second-year scholars Jack Hunt and Lewis Nightingale who have both made 11 reserve team appearances this season.

Town last finished this high up the reserve league table in the 2005/06 campaign.
