With the first-team playing three games in the space of a week, it is no surprise to see that John Dungworth has selected a young Reserve team to take on Oldham Athletic at the Galpharm Stadium in the Pontin's Holidays League this afternoon, kick-off 2pm.

Danny Schofield aside, the oldest player in the Town eleven is the 22-year old Matty Young as the younger spectrum of the first-team squad - along with two second-year Academy scholars - are given the chance to impress.

The Terriers look set to line-up in a 4-4-2 formation, with England under-19 international Simon Eastwood behind a back four of left-back Tom Jackson, centre-backs Danny Codman and Joe Skarz (pictured) and today's skipper Aaron Hardy. Young will combine with Mitchell Bailey to form the central midfield duo leaving Schofield and Danny Racchi to occupy the flanks, with Lucas Akins and Luke Malcher forming Town's dual-pronged attack.
