'Boothy' is a Huddersfield Town living legend, having scored over 100 goals for the Club in two separate spells. He graduated through the youth system at Leeds Road before making his debut away at Fulham in March 1992. He went on to score 53 goals for the Club before joining Sheffield Wednesday for £2.7 million in the summer of 1996.
He stayed with the Owls until the summer of 2001, when he rejoined the Terriers and helped win promotion in the 2003/04 season. 'Boothy' has legendary aerial presence and can bring others into play with his fantastic ability to hold-up the ball and it is certain that he will never have to buy a pint in Huddersfield once his playing career is over!
Andy is contracted to Town until the summer of 2009.
