Academy graduate Jimmy is an intelligent striker who will spend the first six months of the 2011/12 season on loan at League 2 side Cheltenham Town.
The teenager had already gained experience through loan spells at Northwich Victoria and a season-long stay at League Two Morecambe in 2010/11, where he played the majority of games and finished as the Shrimps' second top scorer.
Once the subject of a six figure bid from Manchester City during his Academy days, he likes to drop off the main striker to get on the ball.
Jimmy is contracted to the Club until the summer of 2013.
