Irish under-21 international Graham joined the Club on loan from Scottish giants Celtic until January.
A naturally left sided midfielder or defender, Carey is incredibly dangerous at attacking set-pieces and delivers a brilliant cross, which complements his natural pace excellently.
Last season he won several accolades during a loan spell at St. Mirren and Lee Clark will be hoping he can add some genuine competition for places during the 2010/11 season.
