A first year professional who has progressed through the Club's Academy, Leigh joined Town from non-league Bridlington in the summer of 2007. A strong defender who looks ideal for the centre-back role, he also lists the Scarborough Centre of Excellence as a former club and is also a very good golfer.
Leigh has featured regularly for Town's reserve team already and will be looking to make the next step into first-team football this season. He is contracted to the Club until the summer of 2010.
