Captain of Town's under-18 team last season, first year professional Spencer is a very good defender. Generally playing centre-back but also able to play in central midfield, he is a very strong tackler as well as being commanding in the air. Add to this an excellent reading of the game and his general athletic ability and big things are hoped of Spencer.
He is contracted to the Club until the summer of 2010.
