Currently a first-year professional, Academy graduate Danny has previously been capped for England at under-16 level.
Playing predominantly as a striker but equally able to play on the right-wing, Danny is both quick and strong with a keen eye for a goal and he was awarded the prestigious title of 'League One Scholar of the Year' for 2008 at the Football League Awards.
He was added to the first-team squad ahead of the game at home to Oldham Athletic on Saturday October 20th and has made several appearances as a substitute.
